Snagfilms Concept UI

I wanted to update a few projects I worked on and learn how to use some cool After Effects plugins. I started with an old concept I had for one of my clients Snagfilms. It's a video on demand indie movies "Netflix". The idea for the app was quite simple - have the movies left to right, navigation at the top, movie details at the bottom. Everything on a single abstract canvas gestures heavy interactions and, a mix of flat design in the interface and real 3D objects for the content.
Initially, I wanted to make it interactive, but after creating a scene and exporting it to Three JS, my 2013 Mac was showing 99% load with 25 FPS even without-post processing, so I decided to make a video. Here it is:
